Treat addiction, save lives. It’s a simple message anyone can get behind.

Stand together with us to reshape the narrative on addiction.

One project, three parts.

Punk Goes Recovery

Music has the power to heal, and we’re channeling it to do just that. “Punk Goes Recovery” is the codename for Ars Longa Records’ thematic album of cover songs related to addiction. Not sure what that means? Think a collection of songs like Johnny Cash’s version of Nine Inch Nails “Hurt”, which you can listen to on our Spotify playlist (and add your own ideas for good songs to cover). Sponsor a song for our cover album and become involved in the creative process (plus get the nifty title of executive producer).

Addictoholics Anonymous

We’ll be launching a new podcast about addiction with hosts like addiction doc, Nicole Labor, DO (whose powerful story of her own recovery is contained in her book “The Addictoholic Deconstructed”); Ars Longa Media founder and OB/Gyn, Patrick C. Beeman, MD; and psychologist Mike Friedman, PhD from Ars Longa Media’s mental health and music podcast, Hardcore Humanism. Our “Addiction and Music” series will invite recording artists to tell their own recovery stories and share the profound influence of creativity on their paths to healing.

Social Action Campaign

Inspired by the American Society of Addiction Medicine’s “Treat Addiction, Save Lives” campaign, we’re seeking to extend this message year-round through creative initiatives. We’re looking for physician content creators to make short, educational videos on addiction topics. This opportunity is open to all medical professionals. For example, Docschmidt, a gastroenterologist and medical comedian, is creating content on hepatitis C. Interested? Contact us via the form below.

Additionally, we’re funding creative projects by artists who will use their platforms to promote recovery and mental health support within the music community. Join us in making a difference.
